Jessie Colin is a senior double majoring in Human-Centered Design and English. She believes that human-centered design has the power to transform stagnant industries by innovating systems, services, and products. She is particularly interested in new applications of design in fields like consulting.
On campus, she is the lead Teaching Assistant for Design Thinking. As a Presidential Scholar, she investigates how to better integrate design thinking practices at Dartmouth in order to develop creative leaders. She is also a fellow in the Rockefeller Leadership Program. When not doing school related activities, she can be found adventuring in the surrounding area. She is a leader in both the mountaineering and hiking clubs.
After Dartmouth, Jessie plans to attend a graduate program in design to gain more tools to tackle challenging, multi-faceted problems.
