Kelly Moore is a junior pursuing a double major in Economics and Geography. Kelly balances her academic interests with intense involvement in athletics, as a member of the Dartmouth varsity women’s ski team. Last winter she excelled in her sport, earning All American honors at the national finals. On campus, Kelly is an executive board member of the International Development Forum (part of the John Sloan Dickey Center). The Forum aims to create awareness of global development issues amongst peers. Kelly also researches macroeconomics as an Assistant in the Economics Department. She worked as a geographic consultant at the Center for Service at Dartmouth, using Geographical Information System technology to provide recommendations for neighborhood revitalization efforts. As a founding member of Female Athletes of Dartmouth, Kelly launched events centered on strengthening the female athletic community. She also works as a ZGiRLS mentor, guiding young athletes through a confidence building curriculum. After Dartmouth, Kelly intends to gain experience in the business world that relates to her interests in economic and international development. She then intends to pursue graduate studies.
