Meghan Grela is a 2017 graduate of Dartmouth College, double majoring in Government and Geography. Her cross-disciplinary academic focus in international development seeks to study human and social inequality through the structural lens of political science. Her work abroad interning at the U.S. Embassy, London and at Mayan Medical Aid clinic in Guatemala prompted Meghan to question how the public and private sectors differ in generating social impact. Meghan was drawn to the Paganucci Fellows program because it grapples with this question by bridging the disciplined thinking of business with social change. During her junior summer, Meghan interned at Mercer and will be a full-time consultant at Kepler Cannon in New York City this fall, with hopes of graduate studies in the future. On campus, Meghan ran for Dartmouth’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams and volunteered for Girls on the Run.
